I have been working hard in the vegetable garden too! I have a garden journal online called myfolia.com that tracks when you plant the seeds, when they sprout, transplant, and harvest. I love it because I can check what I did last year and how long seeds take to sprout. This year, because of a tiny someone, I am super late getting my seeds in. I hope to still get some plants soon. I have been researching the best tomatoes for cold foggy summers and found a few I have high hopes for. Only time will tell.
I have also been working on new quilts for the big boys! Eli went to the fabric store with me and picked out the cute car fabric. He watched me cut the squares and sew them together. He is so proud of the blanket and can't wait for it to be finished when he gets a big bed. I am thinking about putting the boys together and thought it would be cute for them to have matching quilts on their new beds.
In the kitchen I have been working at using all my eggs. We are getting almost three dozen a week! I can not keep up so the neighbors have been getting dozens as well. I never thought that the chickens would lay every single day...all four of them. Also, I have been wanting a dehydrator for years and I finally got one. The whole package with extra trays and fruit leather trays I found for $9. It works really well. So far I have done bananas, apples, strawberries, and right now am trying fruit leathers. The kids love them and It is so much better of a snack then goldfish or animal cookies. Although my kids eat way too much fruit anyway.

Rachel- Thanks for the tip to myfolia.com. I love gardening and this website looks awesome for tracking garden info. Can't believe I've never heard of it.
