It was a beautiful day today, perfect for the kids new Christmas gift! I must have been really good this year for Santa it get me this wooden baby sitter!
Cody, my dad, and his dad all put in the effort to make this happen. Cody and my dad drove to Santa Barbara and spent all day taking it apart and driving it back. Then, Cody and his dad, here from Missouri, spent Christmas eve putting it together. The boys were so happy to see it Christmas morning.
It's just the thing I have been wanting for the boys. Something they can imagine on and set some sunshine. They are already playing Captain Eli with the spotting scope and boat wheel. Now, we just need to work on pumping on the swings so I can cook dinner in peace.
